# Asset-type view in Catalog

> A third Catalog view breaks your project down by asset type, with separate counts for models, sources, snapshots, tests, and exposures.

The Catalog gains a third view alongside Project and Database: an **asset-type hierarchy** that breaks your project down by kind, with separate counts for models, sources, snapshots, tests, and exposures.
