# Refresh your development catalog from the Code IDE

> A Refresh button in the Code IDE's Catalog and Lineage tabs rebuilds your development catalog, shows progress, and offers Fix with DinoAI when it fails.

*October 20, 2026*

![The Code IDE Lineage tab while a refresh runs, with the status line reading Refreshing, running dbt docs generate, and the graph controls floating over the canvas](https://mintcdn.com/paradime-docs/uIRt10h9TEZa8ts9/images/code-ide-lineage-catalog-refresh.jpg?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=uIRt10h9TEZa8ts9\&q=85\&s=959e9a263ecdee1f646631196488ee7e)

The Catalog and Lineage tabs in the Code IDE now have a **Refresh** button. It runs `dbt™ docs generate` with your development credentials, then rebuilds your development catalog, so new and changed models show up without leaving the editor.

* **See progress.** A status line shows each step and the elapsed time, plus how long a refresh usually takes once Paradime has measured one. A toast tells you when it's done.
* **Fix a failed refresh.** When `docs generate` fails, the tab says why. Open the dbt™ output with **Show error**, or choose **Fix with DinoAI**. DinoAI fixes causes in your project and explains causes outside it, such as a warehouse login.
* **More room for the graph.** In the Lineage tab, the depth, zoom, fit, and filter controls float over the canvas.

See [Catalog](/products/code-ide/explore/catalog.md#refresh-your-development-catalog) and [Lineage](/products/code-ide/explore/lineage.md). Shipped in Paradime v6.20.0.
