# DinoAI uses the skills you wrote for other coding agents

> DinoAI now finds skills in the .claude, .cursor, .codex, .github, .cortex, and .kiro folders other coding agents use, so one skill works in every tool.

*October 20, 2026*

DinoAI now finds skills in the folders other coding agents use. If your repository already has skills for Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, GitHub Copilot, Snowflake Cortex, or Kiro, the DinoAI copilot and background agents use them too, with no copy needed.

DinoAI looks in `.claude`, `.agents`, `.cortex`, `.codex`, `.cursor`, `.github`, `.agent`, and `.kiro` (each under `skills/<name>/SKILL.md`), then in `skills/`, then in a root `SKILL.md`. When two skills have the same name, the first one found wins and DinoAI skips the other.

See [Skills](/products/dino-ai/customization/skills.md#how-skills-are-structured). Shipped in Paradime v6.20.0.
