# Radar budgets, usage groups, and cost logs for BigQuery

> Radar cost controls now work for BigQuery: monthly budgets with alerts, usage groups of projects, per-query cost logs, and a Users tab in Resources.

The [Radar cost controls](https://docs.paradime.io/changelog/2026-09-09/radar-cost-controls.md) that came to Snowflake in September now work for BigQuery. The BigQuery section of the Radar sidebar has the same pages as Snowflake: **Insights**, **Logs**, **Budget**, **Usage Groups**, **Resources**, and **Alerts**.

* **Budgets.** Set a monthly budget for the whole account, for a BigQuery project, or for a usage group. See [Budgets](https://docs.paradime.io/products/radar/cost-management/budgets.md).
* **Budget alerts.** The new **BigQuery Monthly Budget** alert is on by default. It warns at 80% and fires at 100% of each budget, through your existing alert destinations. See [BigQuery alerts](https://docs.paradime.io/products/radar/real-time-alerting/bigquery-alerts.md).
* **Usage groups.** Group projects the way your teams own them, and see daily spend per group. See [Usage groups](https://docs.paradime.io/products/radar/cost-management/usage-groups.md).
* **Logs and Resources.** **Logs** shows the per-query cost rows under the daily spend strip. **Resources** lists the projects in your cost data, and a new **Users** tab, on BigQuery and Snowflake, lists who spent what in the last 90 days.
