# Column-level Lineage Diff on GitLab merge requests

> With the GitLab connection, Lineage Diff runs after Turbo CI and keeps one note on the merge request listing the downstream nodes your column changes affect.

*November 4, 2026*

With the [GitLab connection](https://docs.paradime.io/changelog/2026-11-04/gitlab-integration.md), Lineage Diff runs after Turbo CI on each merge request, with no pipeline step and no access token in GitLab.

* **A status on the commit.** `Paradime Lineage Diff` shows as pending while Turbo CI runs, then shows the result.
* **One note, kept up to date.** If columns changed, Paradime posts one note that lists the affected downstream nodes, and updates the same note on each new commit.

See [Lineage Diff on GitLab](https://docs.paradime.io/products/bolt/ci-cd/lineage-diff/gitlab.md).

Shipped in Paradime v6.24.0.
