  ## Budget & Consumption for DinoAI credits 💸

  Admins now have a dedicated home in **Settings → Budget & Consumption** to see where DinoAI credits are going and to keep spend predictable. Budgets are tracked per calendar month and reset on the 1st.

  **New features**

  * **Platform view** — company-wide credit spend across every workspace, budget alerts when a workspace crosses 80%, a 12-month credits-by-workspace trend chart, and controls to set a monthly allowance per workspace.
  * **Workspace view** — a 6-month credits-by-agent chart, the workspace's monthly allowance (set by a platform admin), and a **Request more** button when you need a higher cap.
  * **User allocation** — workspace admins can distribute the allowance as a **Shared pool** (first come, first served) or **Per-user** (each user gets a fixed share, and exhausting it pauses only that user's agents).
  * **Background-agent caps** — one combined cap for background agents, with optional per-agent caps, so long-running work stays inside guardrails.

  <Info>
    [Copilot](/products/dino-ai/copilot/index) is never capped — budgets and caps apply to background agents only, so interactive development is never interrupted.
  </Info>

  See [Budget & Consumption](/products/dino-ai/budget-and-consumption) for the full walkthrough, and [DinoAI Credits](/products/dino-ai/dinoai-credits) for how credits are calculated.

  ## Launching Paradime v6.0 🚀

  It's here. **Paradime v6.0** is officially out the door, and this is the
  first entry in our brand-new changelog.

  A quick confession: for the last five major versions we were shipping so
  fast we... never actually stopped to write any of it down. Turns out
  "we'll document it later" is not a versioning strategy. 🙈

  So consider this our fresh start. From here on out, every release, fix, and
  shiny new feature gets its own spot right here.

  **More to come, and this time, we promise to write it down.**

  <Tip>
    Subscribe via the RSS feed so you never miss a release (we certainly
    won't forget to publish one again).
