# LineageNode

> A neighbouring node in the DAG (a parent/child/ancestor of some node). dbt Cloud
returns a nested-node interface here; we return one concrete summary type carrying
the common identifying fields, which covers models/sources/tests/seeds/snapshots
uniformly.
