Setup Guide
Set up Linear issue creation for failed runs. Follow the steps below, and watch our interactive tutorial.Step 1: Gather you Linear Credentials
- Copy your Linear team name. Find information on Linear Teams.
- Create a new API key:
- Go to Linear’s Security & access settings
- Create a new API key in Personal API Keys section
- Save the API key securely

Step 2: Configure the Webhook
- In Bolt, navigate to the lefthand panel and click Templates
- Click Ticketing and use the “Create Linear Issue” template
- Enter your:
- Linear Team Name (example:
DATA) - API Key
- Linear Team Name (example:
- Click “Connect”
Step 3: Test the Integration
- Run a Bolt schedule manually that will fail (the webhook only triggers on failed runs).
- After the run fails, check your Linear project for the new issue
- Verify the issue contains run failure details
