# Airbyte

> How Airbyte sources and connections appear in the Paradime Data Catalog, with lineage through to the warehouse tables and dbt™ models built on them.

  To see Airbyte assets in the catalog, connect the [Airbyte integration](/integrations/airbyte) first to pull sources and connections.

Once connected, Paradime indexes your Airbyte **Sources** and **Connections**. Each opens into the standard [asset detail view](/products/data-catalog/asset-details/index):

* **Overview**: the source or connection's description and metadata from Airbyte.
* **Lineage**: the warehouse tables and dbt™ models built on the data Airbyte lands, so you can trace data from the source all the way downstream. See [Lineage](/products/data-catalog/lineage/index).
