# Lightdash

> How Lightdash Explores, Charts, and Dashboards appear in the Paradime Data Catalog, with fields and lineage back to your dbt™ models.

  To see Lightdash assets in the catalog, connect the [Lightdash integration](/integrations/lightdash) first to pull Explores, Charts, and Dashboards.

Once connected, Paradime indexes your Lightdash **Explores**, **Charts**, and **Dashboards**. Each opens into the standard [asset detail view](/products/data-catalog/asset-details/index):

* **Overview**: the description and tags from Lightdash.
* **Fields**: the dimensions and metrics the asset exposes, each with its data type and description.
* **Lineage**: the dbt™ models upstream of the asset. Because Lightdash is built directly on dbt™, this ties charts and dashboards straight back to your models. See [Lineage](/products/data-catalog/lineage/index).
