# Airbyte assets

> View Airbyte sources and connections in the Paradime catalog and lineage, linked to your dbt™ models.

## Sources

In the Paradime catalog you can find Airbyte sources with metadata directly from your Airbyte API, alongside their lineage relationships to your dbt™ models. A source represents a configured origin that Airbyte reads data from.

## Connections

Airbyte connections link a source to a destination and define how data is synced. In the catalog you can trace a connection through to the warehouse tables and dbt™ models built on the data it lands.
