# Rename or delete a workspace

> Rename or permanently delete a Paradime workspace from the Danger zone in General settings. Admin only, with type-to-confirm and automatic user reassignment.

Workspaces are renamed and deleted from the **Danger zone** card at the bottom of **Workspace Settings > General**. Both actions are available to **Admins** only; other roles do not see the card.

## Rename a workspace

1. Go to **Workspace Settings > General** and scroll to the **Danger zone**.
2. Click **Rename**, enter the new name, and type the current workspace name to confirm.
3. The workspace is renamed and the app reloads with the new name.

## Delete a workspace

<Warning>
  Deleting a workspace removes all of its memberships, tears down its Bolt schedules, and moves affected users to another workspace. This cannot be undone from the app.

1. Go to **Workspace Settings > General** and scroll to the **Danger zone**.
2. Click **Delete**. The dialog lists the consequences for the workspace's users and schedules.
3. Type the workspace name to confirm, then click **I understand, delete this workspace**.

If you delete the workspace you are currently in, Paradime moves you to your next workspace automatically. If it was your last workspace, you land in the create-workspace flow instead.
