Paradime sets one dbt Core™ version for the whole workspace, applied to both the Code IDE and Bolt for every user. This guide changes it, for example, to pick up a new dbt™ release.
Prerequisites
  • An Admin role in Paradime. Only Admins can change the workspace dbt™ version.

Steps

Find the current version

Go to Settings, then the Workspace tab, and locate the dbt™ version under project settings.

Change the version

Select Edit next to the dbt™ version, choose the version you want from the dropdown, and select Save.
Confirm your project is compatible with the target version before you change it. A major version bump can require code changes.
Every user in the workspace now inherits the new dbt™ version across both the Code IDE and Bolt. Run a dbt™ command to confirm it resolves without version errors.
