Flexible Layout

The Code IDE is composed of modular widgets with draggable dock layouts. You can drag widgets from any area of the application window to any other area. For example, you can drag the Git panel to the right side of the screen instead of having it on the left, or drag file tabs to create side-by-side editor groups.

Reset widget position

To reset a widget to its original position you have a few options:

• Drag the widget back to the default position
• Close the widget using the x in the widget tab
• Click Reset editor layout in the status bar to restore the entire default layout
