Git workflow preferences

Paradime provides two Git interfaces to match your workflow:
  • Git Lite (default): a simplified, opinionated flow with AI-assisted commits and pull requests.
  • Git Advanced: the full source control view for staging, amending, and complex operations.
To switch modes, click Switch to Git Advanced (or Switch to Git Lite) in the status bar at the bottom of the IDE.
Git functionalities are always available via the terminal, regardless of whether you’re using Git Lite or Git Advanced mode.

Layout controls

The status bar also gives you:
  • Toggle editor ruler: show or hide the vertical line-length guide.
  • Reset editor layout: restore all panels to their default positions. Useful after rearranging panels with the flexible layout.
