Paradime develops your dbt™ project directly against a connected Git repository. You connect one repository per workspace using an SSH deploy key, which gives Paradime read and write access to your code so you can develop in the Code IDE, run schedules in Bolt, and use CI/CD.
When you import a repository, Paradime generates a Deploy Key that you add to your Git provider. This Deploy Key needs read and write access. The key is stable, so it stays the same across page refreshes until you regenerate it.
You can either test and connect a repository immediately, or save it and verify the connection later once the Deploy Key is installed. A connection that hasn’t been verified yet shows as Pending verification, and the Code IDE, Bolt, and DinoAI stay inactive until it’s verified. See Importing a repository for details.
