Snowflake Alerts

Radar’s Snowflake Data Alerts detect compute cost spikes and query anomalies across your Snowflake account. Enable and tune each alert on the Snowflake tab of the Radar Data Alerts page. See Configure Alerts for how to set thresholds and destinations.

User Compute Cost Anomaly	A Snowflake user’s compute cost exceeds a set percentage above their 7-day average.	% Change	`20`
dbt™ Compute Cost Anomaly	A dbt™ model’s Snowflake cost exceeds a set percentage above its 7-day average. Tracks your top 10 most expensive dbt™ models.	% Change	`20`
Query Compute Cost Anomaly	A specific query’s Snowflake cost exceeds a set percentage above its 7-day average. Tracks your top 10 most expensive queries.	% Change	`20`
Query Remote Spillage Ratio Anomaly	A query’s bytes spilled to remote storage exceed a set multiple of total bytes scanned. Tracks your top 10 most expensive queries crossing this threshold. High spillage means performance problems and higher costs.	Abs. Change	`5`
