Limits

  • Concurrent reviews: a workspace runs up to 3 reviews at the same time. Others wait in a queue for up to 2 hours.
  • Credits per review: a review stops at 500,000 credits. The check fails with Stopped at the per-review credit ceiling.
  • Time per review: a review stops after 45 minutes. The check shows Timed out.
  • Budget: if a DinoAI budget is used up, no review starts and the check fails with Review budget exhausted.
Reviews use DinoAI credits like other agent sessions. The review footer shows the credits each review used.

FAQ

Check these in order:
  • For a custom reviewer, its agent still exists. If the agent was deleted, the review is skipped and no check is posted. The DinoAI reviewer is managed by Paradime and is always available.
  • An active reviewer’s target branches match the base branch.
  • The pull request is not a draft, or the reviewer has Review drafts on.
  • The review mode reviews this push. Once per PR skips later pushes, and On mention waits for @paradime review.
  • The workspace is not at its 3 concurrent reviews. A queued review starts when a slot is free.
No. A review is a comment, or a request for changes when the reviewer blocks on findings. You still need your usual approvals.
No. Paradime reads a custom reviewer’s agent from the default branch, never from the pull request, and the DinoAI reviewer is managed by Paradime. The pull request text is passed to the agent as information, not as instructions.
With Once per PR or On mention, DinoAI doesn’t review new pushes, so the check carries the last review’s open findings. Comment @paradime review to review the new commit.
No. Turbo CI builds and tests your changes in Bolt. Code Review reads the change and comments on it. Use both: Turbo CI runs show which reviewer reviewed the commit.
Yes. The DinoAI GitHub Action keeps working. Use one or the other on a repository, so a pull request doesn’t get two reviews.
