Write @paradime in a pull request comment, or in a review thread on a changed line. DinoAI reacts with 👀, starts an agent session on the pull request’s head commit, and posts its answer as a reply in the same thread. The reply links to the session in Paradime. @dinoai also works. On GitLab, you can also mention the Paradime bot by its GitLab username.

What you can ask

The first mention on a pull request starts a session. Later mentions on the same pull request continue that session, so DinoAI keeps the context of earlier questions. If DinoAI is still answering an earlier question, it waits up to 30 minutes, then asks you to mention it again. DinoAI’s final message is posted as the reply. It doesn’t post other comments or reviews on the pull request.

Request a review

Comment @paradime review and nothing else. This runs the reviewers whose target branches match the base branch, or the first active reviewer when none match. A requested review:
  • runs in any review mode, including On mention;
  • reviews drafts, whatever the Review drafts setting;
  • clears a check that carries open findings from an earlier commit.

Who DinoAI answers

DinoAI answers a mention only when all of these are true:
  • GitHub: the commenter has write, maintain, or admin access to the repository. GitLab: the commenter has the Developer role or higher on the project.
  • The commenter has linked their GitHub or GitLab account to a Paradime account in this workspace: If the account is not linked, DinoAI replies with the steps to link it.
  • The commenter’s Paradime role can start DinoAI agent sessions.
DinoAI ignores comments from bots and its own replies, so two agents do not answer each other in a loop. On GitLab, it also ignores internal and confidential notes. DinoAI does not answer mentions on pull requests from forks. On GitHub, it replies that it can’t check out pull requests from forks.
