October 29, 2026 Cross-project ref in Paradime used dbt-loom, which doesn’t work on dbt™ 2.0. Workspaces on dbt™ 2.0 now get cross-project references built in, between workspaces in the same company.
  • Publish. In the producer workspace, a workspace admin goes to Workspace Settings > General, turns on Publish public models to other workspaces, and picks the Bolt environment to publish from. Only model names and locations are shared, never SQL. The card lists the workspaces that have read it.
  • Consume. In the consumer workspace, list the producer under projects: in dbt™‘s own dependencies.yml. Paradime fetches the producer’s public models before each run, build, compile, test, and show, in Bolt and in the Code IDE.
  • Safe by default. Publishing is off until a producer turns it on. If Paradime can’t reach the latest publication, the command uses the last cached copy and warns you.
Workspaces on dbt™ 1.x keep using dbt-loom. Cross-project references on dbt™ 2.0 are rolling out and aren’t available to every company yet. If the setting doesn’t work for your workspaces, contact Paradime support. See Cross-project references on dbt™ 2.0. Shipped in Paradime v6.22.0.
