July 22, 2026 The @Paradime Slack bot is now fully customizable. Commit an agent definition named .dinoai/agents/dinoai-slack-bot.yml to your repo and the Slack bot takes on its role, goal, backstory, and tool restrictions; without the file it falls back to the general-purpose assistant. More ways to talk to it, too:
  • Direct messages: DM the bot directly, no channel mention needed.
  • From the app: start a Slack session from the Paradime app’s Messages tab.
  • Channels, as before: mention @Paradime, and replies inside an agent thread resume the same session with full context.
You can also give any agent a Slack presence, so runs triggered from the API or a Bolt schedule post progress and results into a channel of your choice. See Customize the Slack Agent.
